Sakuramochi (桜餅) is an exquisite traditional Japanese dessert usually eaten in Spring. This is a Kansai-style Sakuramochi, made with domyoji-ko (Japanese sweet glutinous rice 道明寺粉) with a smooth red bean filling, wrapped in a salt-pickled sakura blossom.

For the best texture & freshness, all of our wagashi should be eaten on the same day received/purchased. Otherwise, they should be refrigerated(chilled) & consumed latest by the next day.
Best enjoyed at room temperature, paired with a warm cup of unsweetened japanese or chinese tea. (Allow the wagashi to soften in room temperature for about 15 minutes)
